The size in inches of a monitor screen

I have bought a Dell P2213 monitor screen and I would like to know the size in inches. The guy at the store told me it's a 24". My colleagues say it is a 22". After searching on the net, I found only a 22" version of the P2213 model.

Also please show me an easy way to know the size of the monitor screen.

The P2213 is indeed a 22 inch display:

There may be a 24 inch version of the same family of displays, but it would have a model number like P24XX.

the 1st 2 numbers tells the size of the screen. the salesman either lied to you to get the commission of the sale or does not know what he is talking about.

Of course you could also measure diagonally from 1 corner of the screen (not the frame) to the other to determine the screen size.
