do i need to instal the Intel SATA Preinstall driver or Intel® Rapid Storage Technology ?

Solution
The Intel Pre-install driver is only for versions of Windows that aren't able to detect disks from your controller during the installation process. If you are installing Windows and you can't see your disk, then try using the pre-install driver.

Rapid Storage is useful to monitor your controller and HDDs for issues, but it's not required. I recommend using it if you have a RAID array.
