The motherboard you listed only works with X5500 series xeons and the 5550 is the cheapest one out of the 5500 series.

You putting instant reply in caps is why no one is actually replying.

Just to make sure, you are asking if you can get two xeons in your price range that will match the 5550?

Intel Xeon E5506 Nehalem 2.13GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 4MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 80W Quad-Core Server Processor 279.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

or

Intel Xeon E5520 Nehalem 2.26GHz 4 x 256KB L2 Cache 8MB L3 Cache LGA 1366 80W Quad-Core Server Processor 384.99
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I found that both of those will work in dual config on that mother board The E5520 would be the best but would go over your budget.

Yeah definitely. That would be 8 cores and 16 threads at 2.26GHz as opposed to 4 cores and 8 threads at 2.66GHz. It doesn't support DDR3 1333 or higher though. Not a big issue.

Not to much performance gains between 1333 and 1600 memory at all.
