My son upgraded Win 10 from Win 7 Pro N retail on his desktop computer. He activated Win 10 through his e-mail account.
Computer runs with Intel i-5, with 8 GB RAM, and Windows installation is located on a separated SSD. 1 TB HD is for programs/docs only.
Few days ago Windows unexpectedly crashed. After a number of attempts to do repair, we decided to run clean install.
Unfortunately, after dozens of attempts, the installation simply freezes in different stages of installation process.
There is no chance that it could be due to hardware malfunction.
We tried both Flash Drive and DVD option, but with the same results.
The process simply freeze and stay like that for hours. Sometimes the Install Windows Message appears: “The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error.”
Do anybody has any suggestion what's going on and/or what should be done to complete installation?
We will really appreciate any help or suggestion.
Thanks
