i saw other peoples photos of the "use the original boot configuration" like this https://www.google.com/search?q=msconfig+selective+startup&rlz=1C1CHZL_enUS688US688&espv=2&biw=1920&bih=979&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiA6YH-qZbMAhXFWT4KHZhPDYQQ_AUICCgD#imgrc=IrZXglqARgFotM%3A checked and i dont have mine checked because it wont let me. this setting makes my computer boot up 20% faster. is this normal?

Hi,

It seems to be okay to me, once reason why it's set on Selective startup is because you've disabled some of the startup items, am I correct? :) And yes it will make the boot up process a lot faster since the PC won't have to spend time opening those applications that you don't really need to open upon boot up. I would say that you just keep that setting like that and it wouldn't harm your PC at all. :)
