I'm using Windows 10 and I have a internal hard drive that keeps unexpectedly opening in the file explorer. I have no clue where to begin the trouble shooting. I double checked to make sure that it was plugged in properly and everything seems okay. The hard drive is currently blank and it was recently formatted NTFS.

Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Usually around the time a tiny leak in the security system becomes a torrent (every pun intended).

I don't have a solution either. I just wanted you to know that you aren't the only one it's happening to. It's annoying as hell! I close it out and it pops back up. Even hijacks my cursor if I'm typing something. I will try to monitor this thread in case someone posts a reasonable solution. I was thinking that someone/thing might be trying to remotely access my drive/files. Yes! I've ran scans. My thought is that it's most likely, a PUP of some kind.
