Question about a HDMI Splitter

I want to wall mount a 32" TV and have my 27" monitor right below it. My question is; if I buy a HDMI splitter, can I plug my monitor and TV into the splitter and have the splitter plugged into a PS4 and have the PS4's picture still displayed on both the monitor and TV? Not quite sure if I explained that so greatly. I want to do this in case I want to play competitive games or play just casual games. Thanks, in advance.

Yeah there are HDMI splitters which would take one source input (your PS4) and output that image to multiple displays.
