I have a Lenovo G505s and it came pre-loaded with Windows 8. I downloaded Windows 10 for free. My computer did not include any physical copy of the Windows 8 or 10 key.

I just bought a new SSD for my computer and I need to do a fresh install of Windows 10.

If you've Upgraded from a previous qualifying OS (and it appears you did)...
...you do not need a license key.

The details of your system are already registered at home base, and you have a 'digital entitlement'.

Put the new drive in, and install.
When it asks for the license key, click on "I don't have one"

When it tries to activate, it will see you system ("Oh, this machine is good to go!") and activate itself.
