The 34" wide models haven't fared as well in the reviews as their 1440p counterparts:

Average response times are comparable (7.8 - 7.9)/. Average lag was the same at 9.2 (compared w/ 3.0 on CB270HU)

Is ULMB that important?

No, because G-Sync and ULMB can't be used at the same time.

G-Sync is best for scenarios where you have an inconsistent frame-rate that is on the low end (bouncing around between 40-70 fps).

If you can produce fps at or above your monitors refresh rate, then ULMB is what you want, because it really helps destroy motion-blur.
