What is better for gaming ? Corei7 2.66ghz with nvidia 210 and 8gbram or 3rd gen core i5 with gtx650

The 650

The 650 is better than the 210 and both on the weak side whereas an i5 and an i7 are both on the high end. So the GPU will be the weak point in the combo, go for the strongest one of that, which is the i5 - 650 combo.

If the choice of these two is due to budget (and not because someone is actually offering you these specific two) you might actually want to scale down to an i3 and get an 750 or something higher still. For the same reasons mentioned above.

go i3 as ur hard will handle it depending on what games u play every year nvidia releases new cards most the time from 600 series to 900 series in the gtx or ti versions are an update of a older card & behaive simulary but the new have more features dont run multiple screens stick to 1 for best preformance

Nah, the i3 is less powerful than an i5 and the HD5700 is less powerful than a GTX650.
