Family Safety trouble

I've added my child/accepted the invitation via email (family Safety) & now want to set time limits. However windows10 doesn't show the child has accepted the invitation. How do I get past this step to set safety parameters?

Using Windows for this is one thing, however, I prefer to use the software below. It's more involved and you can customize it to the extent you'd like. I know this doesn't directly answer your question, but this isn't the first time I've heard of this feature not working.
