"lock rotation of this display" keeps reverting to off in Windows 10

I am running a Lenovo yoga 2 pro with Windows 10. I never use it in tablet mode and want to lock the orientation to landscape to use it as a straight laptop. I have set the "lock rotation of this display" to on. But every time I re-start, it goes back off. And then I get these random switching to portrait mode which then causes my windows to re-size.

Is this a Lenovo "not being ready for Windows 10" problem?"

Thank you for your reply and for the links. I am going to try checking out the Lenovo drivers site to see if some new drivers will fix the problem.
