high end gaming rig for VR advice .

Hi guys ! This is my first post so don't grill me too bad . Please....
I am building my second gaming rig soon and wanted some advice. My current rig is an
- FX 6300
- XFX R9 280X
- 8 GB Ripjaws ram
I have 2 reasons for upgading 1. I have the itch ... 2. I want to get into VR when it hits aus.
this is what i have come up with any advice would be greatly appreciated.
-i7 6700k
-Asus Maximus VIII hero
- Dark Rock Pro 3
-Asus GTX 980 ti strix 6 GB
-Corsair vengence LPX 16 GB ram
-Samsung 850 evo 1TB
- EVGA supernova gold 1000W PSU
-Fractal Design define s mid case.
This rig is around my limit cost wise here in aus it will sting me about $3200. thanks for looking

That's almost an ideal setup for VR. You could save a bit by using the 850 watt version of the PSU. Even with SLI it will have enough for two 980 Ti's, and should be for using Pascal cards as they will be more power efficient.

Wow thanks for the quick response ! I just realized i posted on this site about my first rig 2 years ago and that turned out great!
