Dual boot - No Boot Option

I created a dual-boot system with two separate hard drives. I loaded Ubuntu 16.04 on one of the drives. Then I loaded Windows 10 on the other. All's well except that I don't have boot options when I start my machine. The only way I can choose which OS loads is to change the boot priority in the BIOS. How can I fix this?

Solution

Ideally, you install the Windows OS first.
Then, with that Windows drive still connected, you install Linux on the other drive.

It should present you with a GRUB menu to choose how to boot.
