My monitor has a problem

Hello am writing to know what can fix my monitor. i bought a Dell Professional P2212HB 22" LED LCD Monitor 1920x1080 and recently my monitor is displaying a purple long line which started small but keep getting longer it was black now purple and it changes color when on a black background it goes light green crystal clear almost like glass when on black. I tried flashing colors even went to a site called jscreenfix no luck. everytime i turn my monitor off then on line gets longer please help
