Best Display for 4K up-close gaming?

So basically, I sit around 1-1.5 metres away from my small 1080p monitor.

I would like to upgrade to 4K as my new part upgrade supports 4K gaming with good frame rates. I would like a monitor bigger than 22 inches but not too big. However, big enough so I can see the difference between 4K and 1080p at around 1.5 metres away.
