390X - Connecting 2 Monitors & 1 TV

Hi,

I am pretty computer illiterate so please bear with me if there is a simple answer.

I have a 390X and want to set up 2 monitors & 1 TV. The monitors have a VGA, HDMI & DisplayPort, and the TV has a HDMI port.

390X has 2 DVI-D ports, 1 DisplayPort and 1 HDMI.

So I tried plugging the TV into the HDMI Port, DisplayPort from the monitor to DisplayPort and then the second monitor I could not get working.
I purchased this cord and this active adapter:

Unfortunately, it still does not work. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?

It might not display anything until you setup your second monitor, have you? And are you getting any signal?
