Looking for a personal smart card

I have bitlocker encrypted hard drives and encrypted files acessed by my own private certificates and want to get a smart card to make this all more secure and avoid typing passwords that I'll forget. I want to put my encryption certificates onto a smart card. I have no problem getting a smart card, but I have no idea how to program. It which I have been told I must do. Any help is much appreciated.

I think you're talking about virtual smart cards since that is what you can program at your own pace+comfort. Have a read through this tutorial.
