Man I'm soo mad because I just recently installed Windows 8.1 onto my new hard drive and updated and installed my drives th updated to Windows 10 then exactly 2 weeks later I restarted my computer and it was stuck on the wood screen loading so I couldn't fix it so I decided to reinstall Windows 8.1 and I am currently downloading and installing all my drives and games does anyone know why this might be happening?

Trying to think of what screen might be described as the wood screen. Did you update all your drivers in win 10 or just in 8.1? Most of the problems can be fixed with drivers and/or a new BIOS.

Win 10 just expects people to have more up to date drivers than the previous versions, and people get caught out by it.

There are a few problems I really wish I knew answer to (black screen, flashing cursor comes to mind) but its possible Win 10 just tests hardware more too. People bringing 10 year old pc's on win 10 and expecting a good time are often disappointed.
