Resetting computter problems

I am resetting Windows 10 on a computer my dad gave me. After it restarts, it's asking for me to choose my keyboard layout, but neither my keyboard or mouse work. How do I get passed this question and proceed with the reset?

have you tried plugging them into USB 2 slots? they are the black connectors, not the ones with blue in them.

Sounds like you might need to flash bios to get USB support as they should work in that stage.
