Hi all, I was wondering is there anything particular things that I need to take it into consideration before I setup this protrait monitor (ASUS PA248Q 24) with this monitor (BenQ XL2730Z 144Hz 1ms 27), I've got this card (PowerColor DEVIL AXR9 390X 8GBD5-ADHE). The BenQ has 144hz with max res 2560x1440, while portrait monitor ASUS PA248Q only 60hz with 1920x1200. Does that matter? Do they both have to be compatible? I originally had LG Electronics UM67 34UM67 34-Inch 21:9 widescreen, but found out a lot of applications that I used; as well as games (like StarCraft2, BF4) that I favored either dont do well or doesnt support 21:9 but only 16:9... so I decide to return the LG & get the BenQ with a side portrait monitor ASUS...

Solution
It will work and you won't have any problems. But you have to decide on what you want. Do you want a high refresh rate monitor or you want the huge screens. Other than that everything is good.

yes, portrait mon is just gonna use for browsing, the main mon will be the 144 with DP port. Im just wondering is there any restrictions in terms of setting 2 mons together with different specs, diff refresh rate, diff res, etc...
