How to install Windows 10 via Flash Drive

I have an SSD which I plan to put my OS on and a Hard Drive. Will my PC automatically choose which storage device the OS goes to or can I select?

Only have the SSD ATTACHED during installation of windows.

Attach the HDD after windows is installed.

don't forget to change boot order when you do it or it won't do anything with the USB.

What motherboard do you have as some won't boot from flash without changes.

pro tip: unplug all other drives besides the one you are installing Windows or any OS too.
