Hello friends I am running the below mentioned setup
Mobo : Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-HD2
Processor : A10-6800K with Hyper 212x dual fan cooler
Memory : kingston value ram DDR3 @ 1600 mhz (4gb*2) total 8gb
Video Card - Zotac GTX 660 twin fan
Storage : WD 2tb 5400 rpm
PSU : Cooler Master 500 watts
Case : NZXT Source 530 full tower
OS - Windows 10 Pro 64 bit

Now the problem is games like GTA 5 take a very long time to load levels and if a game or software is installing in the background then any game would terribly lag. I have tried every thing and was wondering if this setup is too old now or what component can or shall i upgrade as I am on a tight budget.

Please Help

Solution
Installing in the background would be hitting the hard drive pretty hard, and it's only a 5400 RPM hdd.
Replacing this with an SSD would make a big difference.
Programs like steam will typically pause downloads in the background too because they will be using your internet bandwidth.
