Hello everyone, I have an confusion about something:
i will lose fps or performance when i play an game which is quite intensive, on two screens connected through HDMI (an Full HD laptop Y50-70 and an 2D Full HD LG TV), but the laptop's screen is disabled and the second screen is active
Also the game is set on 900p resolution not 1080p

Solution

It only matters what the game is rendering at. If your TV is 1080p, but you've set your game to 900p resolution, your graphics card will only have to render that game at 900p resolution. Does that make sense?

No, you won't have an issue with that at all.

If however you have trouble playing a game at, say, 720p resolution on your laptop, and then you tried to play that game on 1080p resolution on your TV, you would find the performance is much worse as you are attempting to render a higher resolution.
