I'm pretty new to all this; I have some hardware experience but that was a few years ago.
Anyway, I am looking at building my own PC for "Music Production".
This means I need lots of processing power, a decent sound card and at least 16GB (although I might want to max it up to 32GB) memory for example. Graphics card doesn't matter so much.
I have been eyeing the Lenovo Thinkserver i7 on Amazon, but wonder if I could build my own for cheaper.
Anybody got any recommendations on an appropriate motherboard etc?
