Issues with computer sleeping and waking up

My computer is having issues while using the sleep mode. At first, the computer would sleep and attempting the wake it would result in the computer turning on but nothing would show on the display and I would have to hard reset. I ran the power troubleshooter and one issue was fixed but now when i attempt to wake the computer up it starts for a brief second then shuts off and needs a hard reset to turn on

Windows 10 64bit
i5 2320
8GB ram
MSI r7950

Check here: Control Panel -> Power Options -> Edit Plan Settings -> Change Advanced power settings -> Sleep. There may be something there that you can change to help.
