Error when updating HP printer drivers

I've been having an issue when updating my HP printer when on windows update the instalation fails and the following appears:
• HP - Enterprise WSD Multi-Function Printer, Other hardware - Null Fax - HP Deskjet 4640 series - Erro 0x80070490
• HP - Printers - HP Deskjet 4640 series - Erro 0x80240017

Is it something to do with a corrupt HP software?

Still nothing, funny thing is that when I turned on my HP printer, it updated by itself, but the windows updates for the printer stll appear, and still give the exact same error. Probably some sort of conflict between the printer's system and windows update?

i had printer drivers that tried to install on my pc, I just set print as pdf as default and win updates took the message. I expect that may not work for you unless you don't mind not having printer as default.

Hey I found out what happened...you won't believe it.
In device manager in the printers queue there were three printers, one is my HP printer and the other two were detected as "unidentifiable" or something, so what I did was unistall the two undetected ones leaving only the one I was attempting to update. Then I ran Windows Update and thre ya go, all updates were made. Thanks anyway for helping me lately with these issues of mine!
