Alright, anyone who may read this i have some curiosities about the new GPU launching from nvidia at the end of the month in regards to replacing a motherboard. I have a Sabertooth 990fx r2.0 that will be RMA'd this week coming up and i was thinking about it, Should i just replace the mobo with a newer board? I have a 8350 cpu that i'm replacing with a 9590 i've had sitting in my closet for over a year and i have 16gb 1866 g.skill also waiting to be installed. My thoughts were actually skipping the 9590 and sticking with the 8350 but replacing the sabertooth with a ASUS 970 PRO GAMING/AURA.

Any opinions constructive and thoughtful will be greatly appreciated.

I would replace MB with same one and OC the heck out of 8350, would get almost same performance as 9590. You didn't say which GPU though and if it's bottlenecked by CPU.
9590 is nothing but trouble Wattage and cooling wise.

I have currently a EVGA Nvidia GTX 760 SC but will be replacing it with the new 1080 when they release at the end of the month. I've heard nothing but bad things about this 9590 with cooling, I will be cooling my system with a CORSAIR h110 gt so i was going to hope that would be enough but your right i'll probably just stick with the 8350.
