My computer says windows 10 has an update. When it updates and restarts it always says "we couldnt complet updates. undoing changes" this has been going on for a week and I'm tired of it. I've tried many things to fix this but nothing's working.
You can go to Control Panel then look at installed programs. On the left you can see all your installed updates. Simply point to the one that is causing trouble and uninstall it manually. Once you have done that you have two options, either delay or disable the automatic updates for now, and simply go to microsoft's website to download the particular update that was causing you trouble. Good luck!

I tried going through my installed updates but i can not find the one that is causing me trouble for some reason
does anything show as failed if you look here:
Settings/updates & security/Windows Update
Click on Advanced options
Click on View your update history
The failed update should show as failed in this list. It should have a KB number, can you share it or just look it up on Google.
sorry for the late response. A lot of stuff has failed on the list. the main windows updated that failed is called "Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 for x64-based Systems (KB3156421)" i cant seem to find it in the installed updates section so I can't even uninstall it
