I'm a bit of a noob so this might be a bit obvious to you but not to me. I have an AMD A10 6800k with an integrated Radeon graphics card, but am also adding a GeForce card (might change this as I have a bit more budget now). I have about $73 spare if I decide to not use the GeForce card, though that might to to a better card if that's optimal.

Feel free to tell me if I'm bad at making PC's. My budget is $600 if you feel like giving me suggestions :)

u cannot setup crossfire between amd and nvidia...they have different architectures altogether...
u ll need another amd card with similar specs or higher...

these are the minimum requirements...
2x or more AMD Radeon™ HD2000 series or greater graphics cards that are within the same family model number. E.g. 2 x AMD Radeon HD6770
An AMD CrossFire supporting motherboard
At least one AMD CrossFire interconnect bridge for each additional graphics card

this might be helpful...

Thanks for the tips :D I just have one question about the edited build; Why did you swap out the memory? Is there any benefit to using two smaller cards rather than one big one? Also, would you recommend getting a better graphics card than the integrated one? Because I do hope to use this for (mild) gaming.

Yes two sticks of memory perform slightly better than one (dual channel mode allows more throughput and requires 2 sticks) the integrated card on those chips will do mild gaming well, especially with the faster memory. If you need a bit more you can always add a gtx750ti or gtx 950 and get a bit of a boost later

That is a horrible build for the money. I"m guessing the $600 is Canadian not US currency. You picked a very slow video card, and a CPU with onboard video that is not needed if you are going to be using another video card. You also have a 4 gig and an 8 gig stick of different brands for some reason. Here are some $500 USD builds http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/forum-31.html?refine=500

Keep in mind that you also need to purchase a Windows license, monitor, keyboard, mouse if you don't have them.
