There is anyway to reset the admin permissions on Windows 10?

There is anyway to reset the admin permissions on Windows 10? without loosing my files/softwares installed?

I messed up with the full control stuff trying to give permission for my C: root folder to be able to create files in there and now I can't preview any photos with the photo preview software that comes with windows.

That is what I get:

This app can't open

Photos can't be opened using the built in administrator acccount.

I changed the security policy and still get the same error...

No, there's no reset. If you screwed with OS settings despite multiple warnings, it's your own fault, and unless you work backwards one step at a time, you'll have to reinstall.
