Very first post on the forums!

So my last gaming rig (pre-built) finally couldn't keep up with today's games (had it since '11). After going through and reading a lot, I came up with this setup. I plan on building around September, though, since I don't quite have enough yet.

I just wanted some second opinions on this. Also, here's some more stuff to know.

1.) I do intend to OC. The 6600K would be redundant otherwise.
2.) I have a 1080p monitor. Don't know when I'll be upgrading that though.
3.) The 980 Ti is just a placeholder. I plan on getting the 1080 or hopefully the 1080 Ti if they make one.
4.) I picked the mobo because I plan on going SLI next year. I'm open to suggestions though since I really have very little idea.

Probably some of these parts made you cringe (Like the 212 EVO), so any suggestions are welcome. Also, retailer isn't much a problem for me (plenty of parts stores in my neighborhood). Thank you in advance, TH Community!

I don't see any value in such an expensive case. With some tweaks, you can get faster ram, an i7, and better cooling, even.

I originally chose the case for the coolness factor haha though looking at the parts list you provided, I really should focus less on that. Thanks to you it looks like I'll be getting a better PC all in all. I appreciate your advice!
