I have a high-end gaming desktop PC. It's monitor is 1080p.
I have a mid-range laptop with a 4K screen! Can't run any games on full res.
How can I use the laptop's 4k screen, having the GPU on my desktop powering the display? You know, so I can play games in 4k without buying another monitor?
I'm willing to consider anything. Network? Using USB? There IS an HDMI... But it's only output. Any way around that? Taking the laptop apart is not something I really want to do...
Frames rates don't really matter. As long as it's ~30fps it's fine with me. My network speed is ~80mps up/down if that makes any difference.
