51GB tmp files

Trying to figure out what's using all the space on my limited 120GB ssd, so I found WinDirStat (great tool). I was shocked to see 55% of my disk space in C:\Users\Ben\AppData\Local\Temp

can I delete it? please tell me I can delete it....

I have a 72gb folder i cant delete as its an old system restore folder from a previous win10 install and windows recognises what it was and won't let me touch it.

Thanks for the link, I did run disk cleanup but it only found a few mb's. Also I have system restore off, always have.

they pretty consistent temp files sizes

have you emptied the recycle bin? (seems too obvious to ask)

Well I'm not 100% sure but they probably were shadowplay files, just weird since I have a external hd dedicated to shadowplay.

deleted them, computer didn't melt, happy happy
