Hello people!

Right now I have a Seasonic PSU (SS-600HM) which powers a X1900XT with a 6-pin connector.
I'm thinking of changing to a GTX680 which needs a 6-pin and 8-pin connectors but I don't know where should I get the 8-pin connector that the card needs. The only 8-pin that the PSU has is the one connected to the motherboard "EATX +12V" connector (Asus P5B above the CPU), and the only free connector on the PSU is another 6-pin. Is there any adapter from 6-pin to 8-pin or something? lol

Need some help on this issue before buying the VGA.

Thanks very much!

There are cables that convert Molex to FOUR-pin connectors (it's likely that your GPU you're considering has two 4-pin connectors, like my EVGA GTX 970) some cards come with converts too, like mine. It came with two converter cables in case. And a vga converter. I didn't need it though because I had a modular power supply.

Moral of the story, A. Hope it has converters or B. Get a modular PSU
