is there anything you want to rescue off the drive? Use: https://www.winhelp.us/recover-files-using-puppy-linux.html

I would do a clean install. If you updated from win 7 you will want to copy everything off the drive you want to keep as the win 10 installer will insist on deleting all the partitions as it uses a different partitioning scheme to win 7. If you came from win 8 you might be ok.

Download this on another pc: Win 10 media creation tool
use it to create a Win 10 Installer USB or DVD (your choice)
change boot order so USB or DVD first, HDD second
boot installer and follow this: http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/1950-windows-10-clean-install.html
