the Monitor is shown as generic non pnp

This is really anoying I have the Nvidia GeForce GT 740 graphics card and a Samsung 2343NW sync master (i belive) but in the device manager the Monitor is shown as generic non pnp and in the nvidia Control panel as Analog display i have tried almost everything but nothing seems to work. This happened recently and it came out of nowhere. Can someone please help me this resolution is so anoying and if i try to creat a custom resolution it looks like an Abomination

let me know operation system and monitor connection to CPU, (VGA/DP/HDMI)? try installing monitor driver too, and turn off the machine for 10 to 12 minutes and unplug all the cables too, including VGA/HDMI/DP

I am useing Windows 10 Pro and VGA connection i unpluged all the cables and reinstaled the monitor driver but nothing works when i try to look for updates on the newly instaled driver it just instals teh Generic non pnp driver again.
