As the title says. I have been looking through google for hours trying to find a solution that works. Windows 10 installed automatically whilst i was at work, when i got home i declined it and then my system reverted back to windows 7. Now when i try to jump online i get the message "There might be a problem with the driver for the local area connection adapter". Is anyone able to help me!!?? I have also done a system restore, but the last point was automatically made after windows 10 was taken off.

Greetings, dale:
1. Go to Control Panel>Hardware and Sound and click Device Manager under Devices and Printers. Click the arrow at Network Adapters and write down the name, e.g. RealTek PCIe Family Controller or anything suggesting local area networking.
2. Go to the manufacturer's web site and download the relevant driver to a USB stick (or do a Google search - sometimes you can find drivers on specialist web pages).
3. Install the driver from the USB.
4. Depending on your system, you may have to repeat the above process for Ethernet and WiFi individually.
5. You might also find that the installation process first removes existing drivers. In that case, just run the downloaded exe file again.

Cheers,
GreyCatz.

Thanks, I did what you said and i 'repaired' once it had been completed i had the same issue. I restarted the PC and nothing had changed. So i uninstalled the driver, the error message i got was that 'there was no driver'. So installed it again and received the same original error message 'there might be a problem'

any other suggestions? Anyone?
