Main screen Won't Connect VIA HDMI

Allright, So i have a expensive gaming PC. Today i turned it on to find that the main screen wont connect/Get recognized

My second screen works, and its via a cable with two screws (dont know the name)
the screen that wont connect is a Samsung 24" LED SyncMaster S24D390H And the second monitor that is working is a ancient HP monitor

Speccs:
GTX 980
Asus Z170 Pro gaming
Intel i7 4 ghz OC
16 gb kingston DDR Ram
Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD Solid State Disk
3TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 R/PM

Are you connecting the monitor to the graphics card? If yes, and no go, try removing the card and test it on the motherboard.

I really dont wonna mess about with the inside of my PC. I dont know what im doing with that stuff. It is in the Graphics card, putting it into the motherboard does nothing
