can anyone help me... I tried to activate my wife's computer hibernation, and now it wont wake up

I activated my wife's hibernation, and now her HP Pavilion wont wake up... The light comes on like it is booting, but that is as far as it gets... HELP! before she kills me....

I'd boot from an install disc or repair disc and do a repair.
