My current monitor is the HP x2301 LED monitor, I'm looking to upgrading it since I've had for more than 5 years, as I recall. I saw some good Asus, Acer, and Benq branded ones, but I really have no idea what I'm looking for, unlike buying a GPU where I usually focus on power and cooling. Looking for the best display to invest in is strangely difficult for me because of all the options and features available.
All I know is that I need one with anti-glare and good color. G-sync is an excellent addition but is optional.
If this information matters: My GPU is a GTX 970, planning on upgrading to GTX 1080ti, once it's available.
I could probably increase the budget a little if it would allow me to purchase a good monitor for my money.
