I've been working through a large print job. Last night the toner cartridge started smearing toner in vertical strips on the page, on both sides of the paper. I would clean it and it would come back pretty quick. I change the cartridge and got clean prints for 50-100 pages, then got an even bigger smear.
Could it be the fuser? How hard is that to check/fix/replace? What steps can I take to fix this? Is it worth it?
