Hi there everyone. I am professional videographer. I have a budget of £2000 (might go over it), I am based in the UK. I am seeking a machine to last me atleast 4-5 years. I want to edit 4K footage in Sony Vegas 12 with next to no lag. So I would like high FPS whilst in live preview "Best - Full HD preview" whilst editing as I find I am more creative when there is no stuttering in live preview. I would like my rendering times halved as well.

My current set up is a Ivy Bridge i7 3770k, 32GB ram, AMD R9 graphics card, 250GB SSD and a 2TB drive. It has served me well for 1080p editing. I can edit footage (in preview - best/auto or draft/auto) with next to no lag. Rendering takes about 5 hours for 1 hour 15mins of footage that I have edited. But 4K is another story. It can be really crippling.

I need genuine advice of the best cpu / ram / gpu in 2016 for editing in Sony Vegas 12. I want an SSD drive and 2 x 2tb drives as well.

Please help. Thanking you in advance ...

Any suggestions ?
