How to set up dual monitors with 1 DVI slot and nothing else?

Recently bought a brand new computer from IBuyPower, but when I received it, it turns out that it only had 1 DVI slot, no HDMI, nothing else. I have one monitor set up and running, but i'd like to get my other monitor working as having two separate monitors would be extremely useful. Not super sure what to do about this, is there any type of USB-to-HDMI or etc device I can use to hook up my other monitor? I'm not super tech-savvy when it comes to hardware, so explaining as simple as possible would be appreciated.
