Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660

RAM 16 GB

Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit

For the longest time I've had serious issues regarding DPC latency. While in game I would get spikes that would cause the game to slow to a crawl and eventually cause my graphics drivers to crash. I've tried everything to fix this but I simply can't deduce the exact cause of these spikes

Linked is a screencap of what latencymon is saying is causing the high latency. Some of these drivers are pretty general so it's very hard for me to find an exact cause

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi,

Have you tried doing a clean install of the graphics card driver?
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Nvidia graphics driver.
- Next is to open Programs and Features then uninstall anything related to Nvidia.
- Once it's completely uninstalled, download and install the latest driver.
- Here's the link: nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx
- Reboot the laptop once the latest driver has been installed.
- After the reboot, do also set Nvidia as the default GPU.

Hopefully this steps will help. :)
