I recently build my computer and everything seemed fine until I tried to install Windows 10. My mouse just completely shuts off when the blue window screen appears.

I have

  • Put it into USB 2.0
    Restarted my computers several times
Checked my BIOS settings (May need to check again)

I also a MSI Motherboard just for your information.

Thanks again for any help! :)

is this a wired mouse? if its wireless, maybe drivers aren't included in win 10... just a thought :)

In bios/settings/USB config, do you have Legacy USB support disabled? It should be disabled or no USB will work in UEFI environment such as Win 10...

Legacy is enabled, also the mouse is wired, but the keyboard isn't. I was reading online something about changing the setting in the UEFI...

Sorry for replying so late, but disabling the USB legacy made it worse, because I couldn't even use the flash drive with the windows boot up setting...
