Specs:
I7 6700k
MSI 1151 z170a gaming m5
Evga 750w semi modular bronze
Hyper 212 evo
WD blue 1tb
Samsung ssd 250mb
Asus vg248 monitor
Ddr4 corsair vengeance lpx 2666mhz
No graphics card
So I just put my new PC together and when I plug the monitor in and turn it on, it says no DVI signal.
I've also tried hdmi to no avail. I'm wondering if I'm forgetting to plug in something to the psu.
There's no beep when I turn it on and all the fans/lights are on as they should be. The psu I'm using has a few "free" cords that aren't plugged into anything (one labelled cpu, one vga). I know the vga is for GPUs, but what about the CPU cable? I assumed my mobo has an onboard graphics so I figured I could just use that until I order my gpu. So confused since everything is working (from what I can tell). If you need any more info just ask!
