Hi guys,

I just made this quick PC build and was wondering if anyone had some optimization suggestions in terms of money for performance with the components I've chosen. So ideally not increasing the price. I haven't done much research into all the components I chose but I was just aiming for a good value high-end gaming PC. My maximum budget is £1500'ish and I am always going to use computer-planet: because of their great 2 years financing, however if there are components which I can't get from their customization options I will just buy them separately. If anyone can tell me, for example: if my GPU is overkill in comparison to the 960 for money and performance etc...

Anyway thanks for the help, I look forward to the replies.

-Oh and here is the link to the build:

The Quote for me is £1388.85 but regardless, the link aside does anyone have some suggestions or ideas for a similar or improved £1500 build.

If VR or 4K is your goal, you might want to rethink that. The need for better CPUs is becoming more of a necessity than a luxury with the high VR requirements.

yeah never going to even consider VR, not sold on it, and I would never be able to justify spending that much money on it with the limited and poor quality of games being developed for it right now; -which feel more like demos but thanks

I just got a 4K monitor and was playing GTA V on it and at the full 4K resolution it was very choppy. I'm definitely upgrading to an i7 at some point, probably after I buy a 1080.
