flaky network connection since upgrade to Windows 10

My wife has been complaining to me that she gets no internet connection (via CAT5e) when she logs in to Windows 10. I try logging her off and then back on again and still no connection. I have to power down the PC completely and then boot back up before it works again. Never had this problem with the same machine using Windows 7. Any idea why this is happening? It is getting annoying. Interestingly hers is the only user account experiencing this issue since I upgraded last month. We have four accounts on the PC.
 
Solution


Check if any network processes are running in the background. Go to resource monitor, network tab and end process temporarily to see if gives you better internet connection.
