Looking for a good gaming 1440p moniter

So, I'm looking for a good 1440p monitor for when I upgrade to a GTX 1070 or 1080, whatever I end up being able to afford and I want to upgrade my monitor to compliment the GPU. I'm not looking for 4k just a solid 1440p monitor with 1ms response and 144hz. There are so many goddammed options and if two people could choose the same monitor that would be awesome. By budget is around $500-$650

I've narrowed it down to two monitors, in your opinion which one do you think is better.

I'm a bit of an Asus fanboy (funny because I don't have an asus monitor), so someone else would be able to answer that question, but I think the Asus monitor is better because it has 3D
